Each month in preparation for
the writing of this message to you, we spend time alone in prayer. We ask for
guidance and for a message from the Great Spirit to give to you. For those of
you we meet in person, that write to us or call for guidance, we bring your
names and your situations in prayer before the Great Mystery. We ask for
healing, for light to guide you and for the greatest good to come forward in
your lives.
While we support you with our love and our prayers, it is
important that you, yourself remember to come to Spirit. While you are given
many guides, seen and unseen, to help you along your path, the Great Mystery
longs to communicate with you directly. We are His children that He loves so
deeply. It is important that we spend time in solitude and prayer on our own
behalf. We must exercise our own power within ourselves to receive knowledge
and healing.
We live such busy, frantic lives. We neglect our own
spiritual evolvement and fail to leave time to meet with the Sacred....to come
with everything we are and all that we are not. We are open because we know
that our thoughts and our desires are not hidden. When we come, we lay down our
prayers of thanksgiving as well as our requests for our needs. We ask for the
divine will of the Universe, for visions and dreams and spiritual
guidance.
It is when we fail to take the time to hear from Spirit that
we lose our way in the dramas of our lives. We become sick and depressed
because we have lost our way. We lose our centre, our balance and we begin to
act out of our emotional blindness and create painful situations for ourselves.
If we would only make it a priority to be alone with Spirit every day, we would
quiet our minds and hear what is being said to our spirit. The answers are
within us, if we could but hear.
At this time of thanksgiving, we give
thanks to the Great Mystery for every part of our journey. We are grateful for
the challenges because they teach us important lessons and give us strength. We
give thanks for the beauty of nature; the thundering falls and majestic oceans,
for magnificient mountains, the trees and all the plants. We are grateful for
the winged ones and the four leggeds who sacrifice themselves to give us food
and for the two leggeds who walk with us. We are grateful to Mother Earth, the
four directions and the grandfathers who watch over us. We give thanks to
Grandmother Moon. We remember our elders and the ancestors who have gone before
us and the Life Protectors who are ever with us. We are humbled by the love and
the power of the Great Mystery who has breathed life into our beings and given
us all that we need.
And we give thanks for each of you, some of which
are old friends and others that are new. We all walk the path together, helping
each other move closer toward the light and to a higher level of understanding.
We wish you peace, much love and many blessings and as always...
...know that you are never alone and that the Great Mystery walks
beside you and is with you on your journey.
